Botkit

Botkit is now part of the Microsoft Bot Framework. It is known as a code-centric platform designed for developers.

Botkit is just one part of a larger suite of developer tools and software development kits (SDKs) that includes the Microsoft Bot Framework. The SDK for the Bot Framework provides the foundation on which Botkit is built. It is available in multiple programming languages!

It includes a large number of plugins for various chat platforms, including Webex, Slack, Facebook Messenger, and Google Hangouts.

Botkit recently created a visual conversation builder to assist in developing chatbots, allowing users with little coding experience to participate.

Botkit uses LUIS as its primary NLU engine. However, it can be integrated with other NLU engines if necessary.
